Recognizing the growing influence of women in today’s workplace and community, the Missouri City Chamber of Commerce is proud to champion Women in Business (WIB)—a program designed to empower, connect, and uplift women in our community. Our mission is to foster meaningful relationships, provide mentorship opportunities, and create spaces for women to celebrate achievements and support each other in both business and life.
WIB engages proven business leaders to participate in events and initiatives aimed at inspiring, encouraging, and equipping other women to succeed. We understand the unique challenges women often face in the business world, and through the exchange of ideas, resources, and experiences, our network grows stronger. Together, we build a balanced path toward personal fulfillment and professional success.
What We Offer:

Mission Statement
The mission of the Missouri City Chamber of Commerce Women in Business (WIB) is to empower, connect, and inspire women of all backgrounds by fostering meaningful relationships, providing mentorship, and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth. We celebrate the richness of our diversity, welcoming women from every industry, career stage, and walk of life. Through our inclusive network, we uplift one another, promote shared success, and cultivate a thriving community where every woman—regardless of her path—has the resources, support, and encouragement to rise and succeed.
The Women in Business (WIB) Committee leaders meet monthly to plan initiatives, events, and programs that empower and support women in our community. These meetings are open exclusively to Chamber members, fostering collaborative discussions and strategic planning. In addition to regular meetings, WIB hosts quarterly events and cohorts focused on personal and professional growth.
Our Women in Business (WIB) luncheons provide a space for Chamber members and their guests—men and women—to build relationships, promote their businesses, and explore topics relevant to women in business. These luncheons offer valuable networking opportunities, along with engaging speakers and discussions designed to empower and inspire.
The monthly luncheons are held on the fourth Thursday of each month (excluding November and December, based on holidays). Tickets are $25 for non-members and $20 for members—making these events an affordable way to connect, learn, and grow with a dynamic community.
Chamber Policy regarding WIB Luncheon Reservations, Cancellations, No Shows, and Refunds:
- Please make your reservation by 12:00 PM on Monday before the Luncheon.
- If it becomes necessary, please cancel your reservation by 12:00 PM on Monday before the Luncheon.
- Payment for reservations canceled before 12:00 PM on Monday before the Luncheon may be refunded or the payment may be rolled over to the next WIB Luncheon.
- For reservations canceled after noon on Monday before the Luncheon or if you do not show up, your payment can not be refunded or rolled over. With our apologies, you will be billed for the full amount if not already paid in full. Alternatively, you may apply your pre-payment to another person to attend so your reservation does not go unused.
